Soft feet at home – 4 easy steps
Hard skin on the heels and balls of the feet is common, especially if you walk a lot or often wear sandals. With a little regular care your feet can become softer – right at home.
4 steps to softer feet
- Soak your feet. Put your feet in warm water for 10–15 minutes.
- File gently. Use soft movements where the skin is hard. Start with the finest or medium roller.
- Clean up. Rinse the head of the foot file and your feet after use.
- Moisturize. Apply a moisturizing foot cream.
How often?
For most people, 1–2 times a week is enough. Always finish with a moisturizing cream.
Good to keep in mind
- Don't file too hard. The goal is softer skin, not removing everything at once.
- Don't use the foot file on wounds, infections or irritated skin.
- If you have diabetes, reduced sensation or circulation problems, you should consult a healthcare professional before filing yourself.
Our electric foot file has three rollers – coarse, medium and fine – and is water-resistant (IPX7), so it's easy to clean afterwards.
